30.7.2014 Kohtuullisen Viipuri-tropon kuuntelu jäi kun tuli OIRT-kelihäly. Skippi oli aika lyhyttä ja keli nousi nopeasti CCIR:lle. Lähellä sijaitsevien pilvien normaali liikehdintä länteen liikutti polttopistettä puolestaan tavallista nopeammin. Matka Lipetskistä Prahaan (137 asteesta 212 asteeseen) kesti vain 2.5 tuntia. 1.8.2014 Polvijärven kesäkokoukseen ajellessa matkalla tuli Jyväskylästä Italia-aiheinen kelihäly (tnx JY!), mutta kokouksen jälkeen oli pieni breikki keleissä. Vanha toteamus ”kelit kupsahtaa kesikseen” ei tänä vuonnakaan pitänyt kutiaan..

8.8.2014 Little one cloud opening to Central Europe. MUF 95 and azimuth 197 gave stations from Budapest and Slovakia (Radio Jemne 89.7).
13.8.2014 Good opening at first to Rostov/Eastern Ukraine, then Zaporizhzhia region and in the end for the Western Ukraine (Odesa). Longer skip went obviously to the Black Sea and later to Moldova. Log here.
21.8.2014 Pretty good opening on OIRT that went backwards! The clouds were moving to East! Also something trying on CCIR. Same morning I installed a Sangean 3 meter long wire on the balcony, since Tecsun’s whip is broken. All the OIRT stations came to that wire, even it is meaned to improve only AM reception ;). 22.8.2014 Little opening to Balkan. Very weak and short signals, but also lowpower stations. The highest noted was Rádio 1 Pécs (Hungary) on 90.6. Also Narodni Radio from Croatia 89.7 IDed. In Jyväskylä were heard also some national stations from Bulgaria.
